Where it started

Royal Equestrian began in 2010 as a small boutique tack store based within a well-known British equestrian centre. From the very beginning, our focus was simple – to source beautiful, hard-to-find products and introduce smaller European equestrian brands to the British market.

At a time when many products were difficult to access in the UK, we wanted to create something different. A genuine boutique shopping experience, built around carefully selected collections, expert advice and a personal approach to customer service.

In 2015, Royal Equestrian officially launched. We opened our store in the market town of Olney (pictured!) and introduced our online store, allowing us to share the brands we loved with riders across the UK and beyond.

Where we are now

As the business continued to grow, we moved to a larger warehouse and showroom in 2018 to support our expanding website and increasing product range. Today, Royal Equestrian operates from a beautiful rural showroom location, designed to offer the luxury shopping experience every rider deserves – relaxed, personal and welcoming.

We also attend two of London’s leading equestrian events each year – the Global Champions Tour and the London International Horse Show. These events are a wonderful opportunity for us to stay connected with our customers, meet new riders and remain closely involved with the equestrian community we are so passionate about.

Who we are

As lifelong riders across a variety of disciplines, equestrian sport has always been at the centre of everything we do. Our experience gives us invaluable knowledge when advising customers, particularly for specialist fittings such as riding hats and riding boots, where time, care and expertise truly matter.

Royal Equestrian was always intended to feel different. We have always personally loved luxury products and beautiful craftsmanship, but often felt that luxury shopping environments could feel intimidating or unapproachable. From day one, we wanted Royal Equestrian to be a place where every rider felt comfortable – whether visiting us at a trade stand, shopping online or walking into our showroom.
