- the centre ring acts as a loose ring
- the bottom ring promotes poll pressure
The mouthpiece runs quickly up the centre pin, and releases extra fast. The Williams cheek piece encourages flexion and helps to prevent drifting.
The Happy Tongue is a solid mouthpiece uniquely ported to give maximum tongue relief. The standard Happy Tongue is curved to be softer on the bars and slow in applying tongue pressure. Ideal for horses with a sensitive tongue, to encourage acceptance of the bit.
Cheekpiece – Consideration should be given to horses with fleshy mouths where increased width is necessary in order for the bit to be well accepted. A good choice for a fast paced discipline.
Mouthpiece – This is by far our most successful design – we recommend for all young horses and those that show tongue sensitive signs. The 4 available ports have been scaled according to each width. This ensures accurate fitting over the bars and eliminates the rocking movement which occurs when the port is too wide.
